M2 controls approximately 2,413.8 km2 of prime cobalt licenses in Uganda, East Africa, right next door to the DRC where over 60% of current cobalt supply originates. Our licenses are in two main areas: (1) Kilembe: 708 km2 on strike near the Kilembe mine which historically was a major producer of copper and cobalt and (2) Bujagali, 1705.8 km2 in south central Uganda where M2 has attained initial samples of 1.24% Co.
